Vcd Cd-r's. Help!

What is a good program for burning .avi movies or TMD files on a CD-R OR CD disk?

And to start converting it to make a vcd? <--- AM a NEWBIE ON MAKING VCDS ON CD-R&#39;S.

Help please i have tons of great movies and it would be nice to take thme somewhere with me.

Directions websites anything for me to learn.
