Launches the AVG Auto Update 60 seconds after launch. Can be used in a Start Up Group to check for updates after boot up. The success of this relies on an open internet connection already having been established and is therefore best used on a Broadband connection. It is also designed for the AVG 6 Free Edition and not for AVG 7, or the full AVG 6 version.

Not to troll.

But why has AVG not fixed their "AVG email server that is really AVG 7 Pro? It confuses a lot of people.

I was wanting to give avg aother try since it has never worked for me before. I have never found their update feature to be one of their biggest problems though......only the one stipulated above. :)

"control center>update manager"

I guess its a tool that does auto updating your AVG AV...
Well I have NAV and I turned my auto updating off. I just check it manually.

Before it was updated it did not say "Email Server", since this is suppose to be an Av last I checked.. I wonder why avg does that. Could it because it truly sucks or am I doing something wrong.

Am open to suggestions. Well, maybe not "open" but ya know. :)

i downloaded the latest version from their website and used a serial I got from kazaa lite, and now it says email server edition at the top, i understand that this is a known glitch. BUT, mine automatically updates at startup and i cant figure out how to stop it from doing so...
