i'm using norton 2003, that seems to be ok, but i got a opaserv virus once and it didn't properly clean the win.ini so i had to just delete it

before that i was using trend pc-cillin, it was really old cause it came with the computer, it didn't work properly with windows ME

I would go with Norton AntiVirus 2003 Professional. Works great and haven't had any problems with it yet. Keep it updated with Liveupdate or go onot site and download the latest Virus Definitions. :D

Ditto for KAV. Just left NOD32, which was good to me. But all the reasons I used NOD32 over KAV are gone. KAV solved them. :)

After looking at that review I'll still go with Nod32 =] It lost its points in Ease of Use but I don't find it that difficult. I never use the help so that doesn't matter to me either. P2P/File Sharing Protection > Peerguardian =]

What is the best Anti virus that is compatible with vista rc2 6000?

Vista rc2 6000? I think the 6000 is the RTM release.

NOD32 version 2.70.16 works.

Avast is good... but to be honest a lot of the time your brain is the best thing.
