Basketball is about the only mainly American sport that I can handle. Monster Trucks, WWF/E, and the motor racing where they go around the big oval track just don't get me going.

I like American Football. But it is wasted by the continual stopping. It takes five hours to play one hour. :(

1. American does not last 5 hours ever.
2. The time is well spent condidering there is some scoring going on. The reason I can't get into soccer is because there is harldy any scoring. It's hard to watch something that goes back and forth with virtually no scoring or breaks. BOOOR......ING!!!

I am not attacking it I am giving my reasons for not watching it. Sorry I ofended you. :( Ok 5 hours maybe a little much. How long did it take to play the recent final. You tell me. Time from start to finish and actual playing time. I am sure it took nearly four hours.
Anyway soccer is a mans sort, with actuall body contact. :)

hahaah and American football isn't body contact
a NFl game goes for 60 minues of clock time
take out the commercials and crap it would go for 2 hours of full on play.
and you have the challenges half time brake quarter breaks
have a look at AFl here its even worse
Rugby League is teh real game

It's past it's peak only because of the past popularity of Jordan.
Again it's still the fastest growing sport in the world.
Lebron might help with a new rise.
He is simply amazing.....and he's straight out of high school.
Yes, B, but the game...
Ali was a great boxer, but he fucked up every heavyweight who followed him until Tyson.
Jordan has spawned a generation of selfish play and showboating.
Watch the women play and you'll get my point.
Geno's and Pat's girls put on a real show, I think. ;)

Well j2 history has been made.
UConn Women are also NCAA Champs!!!
UConn 70- Tennessee 61
It's the first time the women and men's team have won a title in the same year.
That's pretty cool.
I like Pat Summitt and the Tennessee program, but Auriemma has his women playing at a higher level.
Diana Taurasi is really something.
Hats off to UConn! :)
EDIT: How tough will it be to recruit for UConn this year?
