hi i have a site on angelfire and stormpages, those are two online webbuilders, so no saving on you're hdd... just like geocities (not that i'm using it).. now, i've seen sites with passwords to go to the next page... or something like that... i want that to... i wan't people to enter my site with a needed password... how can i do that??

Try doing a google on "html" and "password".
Gave me over 5.000.000 hits.....

You'd have to use some sort of javascript on those servers.

Just a warning though, if you do go for a jscript, they are very unsafe, as anyone with a faint idea of html could crack your password with ease.

Well, in a way, your URL IS a password of some kind.
If you don't hand it out, who will be able to find your site?

If you don't give out the url to anyone, what would be the point? Make a password protected site for yourself?

I meant that Wocus could only give the URL to the people he wanted to have it.
Others wouldn&#39;t be aware of their existence, so the pages would be private.
