Sorry Ad but I think you will find the seasons in every part of the world change at the same time.

Winter starts on the winter Solstice(Shortest amount of daylight)
Spring starts on the Spring Equinox( 12 hours daylight)
Summer starts on the Summer Solstice(Longest amount of daylight)
Autumn starts on the Autumn Equinox.(12 hours of daylight)

They are only about three weeks out. :( If you think what I have said about the seasons it is logical. Especially when I made a simple error of forgetting about the extra day this year. So instead of 21st start of spring it is the 20th. The extra day keeps the other three years to the proper dates.
