i am dnlding ut2004 and its over but now it keeps saying verifying - checking for errors and man is it taking a long time ( an hour ot so ..) is it jammed or its talking a long time due to the heay file size ??

Close all other applications - it does take a long time, 1GB can take around a half hour to verify.

It seems Shareaza has hanged - if you have sufficient availability of RAM, perhaps 512MB+, then this dilemna tends not to be an occurrence.
