Hey, I have a secondary hard drive just for my tunes
it is the 30gb one in my sig
it has about 35mb free, so it is pretty much filled to the brim, whenever i start my computer I get this:
http://www.chinkii.com/uploads/album/misc/2624521.JPG
There's no errors or anything, just this warning in my system tray, then it won't go away till I click it and then it runs the disk cleanup wizard and tries to free up space, which it doesn't.
any way I can stop this warning from coming up on startup? other then deleting some of my songs?
Thanks

This turns it off on all drives...
Start the Registry Editor
Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\
Right-click an empty space in the right pane and select New>>DWORD Value
Name the new value NoLowDiskSpaceChecks
Double-click this new value, and enter 1 as it's Value data
Close the registry editor
Log off, or restart Windows

You can also do it with Xteq Systems X-Setup if you don't want to mess directly with the registry.

Or any of a number of system 'tweakers'.

2 things , first if you dont have 15% free space on any drive it wont defreg properly

2nd be very carefull, that message is there for a reason , if you accidently dump another 35+ mg of info on that drive you will find over writen files and more problems than u need , suggest you backup to cdr some of that stuff you dont use all the time and free up some space

lol I can't be bothered to burn them, cuz I just keep them all on my 30gb hard drive and have a whole playlist of about 6000 songs that just loops over and over, can't do that with mp3 cd's ;)

lol I know what you mean there!
I have a tons of cd's that just say "new mix" or "car cd1" through to "car cd25"
I just keep em all tagged and organized on my comp and it's much easier for me

 i used to do that, sorta, i had nice names for all of my cd's and made labels and stuff. now whenever im going on long trips, I burn a new cd and just put the date on so if I have to rush out and ther is no time to burn one I just find the one with the latest date on it and run out the door...beats going through blank cd's.
