Hello I have been using XP PRO 2002 for 3 years now without SP1.
People say it sucks, good whatever.
Im concerned since I already tweaked some things and if SP1 would change it to default.
Your opinion should I install SP1 or installed it when my hard drive was just reformatted?

I have downloaded the critical updates, security, Networking, Internet Information Services/Com+ and etc...
List of the things that SP1 installs...

Seems like I do not need this?

Yes. You should install Windows XP Service Pack 1a (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/default.asp). Do it.
And if you know what your doing get the Network Installation (http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsXP/pro/downloads/servicepacks/sp1/network.asp) version and make a copy of Windows XP with Service Pack 1a Slipstreamed.
