have xxx postx avi ,no picture or sound on media player,picture only on div x player, on avi preview both work, have tried every codecs possible to no avail. have win xp and media player 9 any ideas

The AC3 codec for DivX worked for me... try getting the Nimo codec pack and if it doesn't work, get AC 3 separately (look for it in KLite)

use gspot to find out if you have all codecs you need.

The kccodec pack worked for me. You may have a conflict of codecs, ie. if you have nimo and total divx pack both installed. Try going with one instead of all.
