I am just coming towards the end of a cultural studies degree and I have decided to write my dissertation, centered around the cultures of file sharing. Ive read a few old articles on gift economies and virtual communities.

If it's anythign to do with filesharing on kazzaa you could write the cultural studies dissertaion as planned then misname it as "the magnetic properties of salt" and hand it in at the science dept :)
