what program do i use to convert a MP3 to a MID (midi)

there are several programs that claim to do this - but I dont think it can be done effectively. Try 'wav to midi' in a search (there is one program called just that) - should come up with a few of them. Oh - and I think they should work with mp3 if they work with wave files - use Sound Forge to convert if not.
