its gonns take forever.... ;)

Agreed.

About 38 hrs on XP2500+ oc&#39;d to XP3200
About 58 hrs on XP1700+.

Those are what I&#39;ve got running now.

Whats the best settings to have it on... i mean to get it done as fst....

Moloclue draw rate?
visuilation type?
core priority?

AFAIK molecule draw rate and visualisation type only have an effect if you display the F@H window. If you keep it minimised it should not affect anything.

Core priority affects the level at which it is allowed to operate. Usually the lowest setting is correct - it will only use cpu cycles not required by anything else.

However, if you&#39;ve got something else running at that level it will share the spare cycles with F@H. If this is something which just monitors something in the background (ie doesn&#39;t ever use much processor time) then it won&#39;t significantly interfere with your folding. But if it can sometimes be a processor hog you may want to set F@H to have a slightly higher priority - it really depends on what the alternative piece of software is.

Edit: example: if you tried the pointless exercise of having two copies of F@H running on a single processor system (or a P4 without hyperthreading) they would normally share the spare cpu cycles. If you change one to have the slightly higher priority then that one would do all the folding and the other would be almost idle.

ive had a 5000 which is my biggest.
ive had 2 858&#39;s and 2 859&#39;s and on my 3rd 858 on one of my machines.
take ages.

my most was 400, but that was the only one ive ever done...
