Download and install the drivers from here: http://www.mic-innovations.com/drivers.htm

Why is it that DarkClown12 hasn't posted that? And why not post the model? Micro Innovations makes many models of mice.

u dont know why he didnt mention it...oh well.

he has tried those drivers for his mouse and nothing has worked for him, even video card wont install. but that is all that wont work, he is now thinking of just buying a better motherboard and processor for his computer and hes going to put his old mobo\cpu into this one hes trying to build.

the motherboard is by tcommate , model K7TA-H. has anyone heard of them?

here it is... (http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?InvtId=K7TA-H)

they any good?

i think all of the problems hes been having with this pc can only be caused by the motherboard, as nothing else would affect so many parts...

here are the problems hes had so far:
-cd-rom drive's (hes tried 3 different drives i think) have had difficulties reading the XP cd's and 2000 cd's he has burned. they always have problems copying files and he ends up skipping the file and then xp doesnt boot properly. 2000 worked somehow...

-video card drivers wont install.

- Mouse drivers wont install, plus mouse isnt recognised by the computer.

do u guys think it is his motherboard?

lol i would prob bet you $50 its ram thats the problem, a timing issue, thats screwing everything up

if its got 2 ram sticks pull one and see what happens

this all sounds stupid doesnt it , but believe me , i have seen this happen almost exactly

try pressing alt-ctrl-del and then go to file>new>type 'explorer.exe'>presss enter>everything SHOULD come up. if not the installation got screwed up.

did u try using a single ram stick as delphin has suggested.

serial is currently being phased out so replacing it would be a good idea

Its pretty funny. I have gone through about 4 mouse's(or should i say mice) in the last 5 months. Everytime I buy a new one I end up breaking it.

I think that is because when I get angry, especially when my PC freezes in the middle of a large task, I slam the mouse. They don't last very long.

Any suggestions on how I can control my anger better?

brian :-)
