Just came home, my ever-so-manly-beer-belly-guts oozing over the pants.

We got some Tacos and rolled a few DVD's, thats as close to concerts I get in here,
living begind Gods back has its back-sides. ;)

The "new" G3 was the first.
-Satriani delivered a nice perfomanse again, he has a good sound
coming outta his Brand New Signature Peavey amps too, did sound very much like his old Marhall setup.

-Steve Vai did the thing for me, with his 3-neck Ibanez, (one was fretless) he had
an amazing opening song, he is The Player in my books, totally blew me away again.
In the band there was Billy Sheehan and Tony MacAlpine also, they did some crazy stuff. :o

-Yngwie Fucking Malsteen (as it said on his roadies t-shirt) did the usual thing,
if its possible I think he is getting faster (j/k)
He did a pretty good perfomance, I was laughing many times so I guess in had some Entertaining value. I was also pleased Yngwie didnt get to produce alone this DVD.
He has become a Mature Man, im talking about the Size, i mean, he is huuuge.
Happens to a lot of ppl when they get older (me included) so nothing wrong about that, but:
Mature men with spandex are always funny, which brings me to the other DVD i saw today:

Iron Maiden live at Rio (2001):
Well, despite the Spadex insidence in the end, where the drummer runs about
in tights, it was very good stuff i must say.
This time pretty good guitar tones too, not like the crap on that Live after Death from
80's, man that was a good show but bad sound.

Good sound on both DVD's, i only wish my friend gets the Surround kit so
i could check the sound then.
;P

Ofcourse, the G3 is mostly Guitar-Onani, but it is worth to tka e look tho.
And Maiden is Maiden. Like it or not.

:beerchug: Cheers
Yngwie Malsteen, got a concert video of him.
Not much for his music, will say he's a good guitar player though.
I seen another video of a guitar player that was incredibally quick
(Michael Angelo)meth man or just really quick, not sure if he's still around had the same sort sound kinda.

Iron Maiden ,I knew alot of people who listen to them.
I never really did,my mom use to freak about Heavy Metal music-it being satanic- :
I got the game Carmageddon 2 for my pc.
After that I was hooked. It featuring tunes like Aces high,The trooper, and Be quick or be dead. :D

She's in her wheelchair
Na she's alright,I told her one day I listen to music for what it is.
Not necessary for the lyrics.
Not much on rehashed remanufactured bullshit, never was.

This DVD is the latest G3 i do believe, Concert is from 2003.
Before that one the 3:rd wheel was John Petrucci,
another excellent electic guitarist.
Then there has been Eric Johnson, a maestro too.

Those are the guys i've seen on dvd or heard some mp3's.

Some other Good Players been touring on G3 also,
for history, check G3 (http://www.satriani.com/G3/2003.shtml) website.
