like i cant be bothered to do any work clean room etc.

what do people do to motivate themselves?

I have no motivation either at the moment, other than to play guitar, do stuff on my PC and see family. Im not the sort of person that can be motivated towards menial tasks, and Im glad. :)

I was exactly the same with my school work. I didnt need a standard job, so why should I be forced down the same route as everyone else?

Do your best, try when you can, but ultimatly you know what you want to do. GCSE's are important sometimes, but they dont make the world go round. ;)

Yey! Welcome to my world, scribblec. I have 3 important things in my life currently: university, job, and a girl. Of the 3, the one least important for me (right now) is university. I know it shouldn't be, but wtf can I do. I have no motivation whatsoever. I'm not a person that likes studying. I do however LOVE to work, or to learn things by myself.

It's like crossroads in your life. Right now I'm thinking of quitting univ. Not totally sure about it, but I guess the real test for all decisions comes to whether you would pick the same choice even knowing fully the consequences of your decision.

Stay sharp, and live free :)

I listen to music that is depressing, and once I've gotten tired of being sad, I forget about not being motivated and just do things as I normally did.

Take a semester off and kick back. I suppose you won't miss much from the uni except hard labor.

Chill out, relax and enjoy life. Just do what you want, tomorrow is another day, who gives a feck about the future.

Enjoy life whilst you are still young, that's what youth is for. Don't let old bar stewards like me tell you what to do.

When you are 77 like me, just tell them so what, when I was young I enjoyed myself and ignored everybody. I am happy with my choices, are you.

kind of confusing for the poor chap...you tell him to take things easy, then you tell him not to listen to you   :D
