Just to note the passing of Peter Ustinov.

I liked his gentle ironic humour and the world will be the poorer for his departure.

I saw a programme where he stood in front of an audience and they asked him (pre set up) questions about his life.
His army life was funny but i think the thing i remember most about it was when he spoke of his school report....." he sets himself such low standards....then fails to meet them"

It takes a true genius to make a Belgian amusing.

He was an asset to every undertaking, and somewhat under-appreciated, I think.

RIP

An under-stated and under appreciated genius in my view.

PEYER USTINOV

My favourite film starring Peter Ustinov is ASHANTI. He was an Arab slave trader

and he was absolutly fantastic in it.

A great loss to the film industry.
