Yep, it sure is.

It is all set. I wanted to test it at the default settings (except for the mildly overclocked GPU).

Wow, I am proud of myself. That was fun. It was a good challenge.

My idle temps (from AIDA 32 are: 35 degress celcius for the CPU, 32 for the diode). That&#39;s good, right.

I never claimed to know everything about building computers...did I?

I knew it was much of a lego operation, so I thought it was pretty easy. I got the parts yesterday at 3 pm, went to bed at 9 pm without finishing. The next morning I woke up and withing 30 mins I had the OS installing great.

It sure aint rocket science, I&#39;ll tell you that.

Wow, I am impressed&#33; The difference in this benchmark between an Intel 3000MHz hyperthreading CPU and an Athlon 3200+ is only 1.5 average frames per second. How can I conclude this?

Is 42 cel too high? What is the max heat the chip can stand?

42°C is fine.

I have seen quite a few running stable near 60°C but that&#39;s too hot imo.

AMD rates them even higher than that.

How long should I run a "burn in test" to make sure when I give it to him the system will be stable at 2200 MHz?

I have the RAM set to its recommeded timings for the speed its at, and the mobo can handle it for sure.

If the burn in test is that program which only lets you run a session for 15minutes, then i think i remember clocker saying once to run it twice which would be a total of 30 minutes.

but i think you should just let it run folding@home for an hour or two.
