I have 2 questions, but for now just one:

I have Windows XP Home and so does my friend, but he has a option under Hewlett-Packert to take a picture of what ever is on the screen. And I don't have that option... :(

So what program can I use to take a picture of my screen?

The other question is a error message (configuration warning: invalid character at startup) im getting when i try to open Netscape 7.0.
There is more to that error msg. but I cant catch it all, thats why I need the program that takes a screenshot of my desktop.

THANKS in ADVANCE ;)

Try Mozilla (http://mozilla.org/) as a Shitscape replacement.

Or firefox.

Aohell owns Netscape I think. I did not think Netscape was still in development. I mean the version you have was the last if I am not mistaken.

Mozilla is no longer a part of Netscape anymore they have their own organization. The Mozilla Foundation.

Firefox is an extremely lightweight web browser and fully customizable with add-ons like extentions (http://texturizer.net/firefox/extensions/).

Mozilla sure looks like netscape if you applay the "Modern" theme but it's 10 times better. If your used to using Netscape then Mozilla would be a good replacement for you.

Firefox can be downloaded from Mozilla's website at the link I posted above. It is a lot faster than Mozilla as well. :)

Well, The Reason I Liked Netscape Is Because I HATE Internet Explorer!
-I will try mozilla-firefox...
How many things do I have to download and install? Just one?
Thanks....

HoverSnap (http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm)
Excellent, free, no install. Perfect for desktop screencaps.

Netscape, eh? I don't like Netscape myself. I'm afraid all I can do is suggest another browser. Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/), and Firefox are made by Netscape, but I feel they are more capable. However my favorite is MyIE2 (http://www.myie2.com/)

Just one Direct download (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/0.8/FirefoxSetup-0.8.exe)

You can get as many extentions as you want. They add more functionality to the browser.

@xero-grid -- that is no longer true. Mozilla created it's own foundation apart from netscape in 2003. You can check Mozilla's site or google to confirm this. :)

Shn, always in the know.

Well, I still stick by MyIE2. More features than the Mozilla or Firefox browsers while still remaining light. I think firefox may be faster, but that really depends upon system configurations. Firefox isn't as integrated into Windows as MyIE2 is because MyIE2 uses the IE core.

Jeez. How about an informative topic instead of "simple Question..." <_<

I know you have Windows, too, Shn. :D
Even trying to get anything IE based on anything Unix or Unix based is laughable.

As for security holes... I could care less. Everything has security holes, but it's the user that really matters. Most problems are caused by ignorant people.

The one thing I love about YourIE2 is its lack of security holes.

"Security holes" assumes it has security in the first place.

HAHAHA, funny.
But people bitch about security too much, if you know what I mean.
I haven't seen anything I couldn't handle so far.
