You only seem to have it on laptops

if you press fn+other F keys - they will toggle numlock/displays/sleep/ brightnessdarkness of screen etc'

Keikan-if you have a FN key on a normal (pc)keyboard Please tell me the make of it
cause im desperatly trying to find a replacement for it-minesdead(waterdamamge) so icant brighten the screen anymore (fn+leftarrowkey)
if anyone knows an alternative method /combination to make FN work please say so.
I have searched the entire web for it.

Cheers

READ YOUR LAPTOP MANUAL and it will show you a world of things about your laptop but was afraid to ask.

yeah lots of keyboards have that Fn key, but its more common on laptop keyboards.

on my friends keyboard he has the Fn key and the only use we have found for it is that if you hold it and press the button 4 it will make a pound sign instead of a dollar sign.

I've got an Fn key on my keyboard. I'm only knowledgeable to how it relates to the usage of VC++, as pressing it changes the dialog caption.

Probably used in conjunction with power/sleep/wake keys, etc.
