If I remember right, you can do it in TweakUI, I forget what it's listed under but i'm sure it isn't hard to find. You can get it from M$'s site.

EDIT: Spelling

Tweakui (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp)

Also programs like icon packager allow you to do it, not sure about styleXP.

Just to add:

I would recommend steering clear of using the .iconsets, or in general, anything about changing icons using StyleXP 2.0. I can point out at least a couple of dozen users/threads at ThemeXP alone who have had nothing but problems with it. StyleXP 1.0 more than gets the job done for your theme managment without adding excess that only seems to fuck around with your system. Boot files also seem to be a consistent problem for 2.0 from what I understand.

IconPackager (any version before 2.5) is, IMO, a better solution for all your icon needs. TGT Soft just seems to have failed miserably with the whole icon thing.

You know all that theming and iconing crap slows ya down big time, right?
You wanna replace your system icons? Do it the geek way and hack your system files.

Kinda like this... CrystalMX (http://www.mavisxp.com/crystal/index.htm)
They have some you can download. :D

Anyway, rebuilding the icon cache should work.
RegSeeker (http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm) has a button in the tweaks menu. Don't worry, you don't even need to install it.
