the speed of your download depends on the # of sources you have for a paticular file. try jumping supernodes. also what P2P proggy are you using anyways?

ok..well, to jump to another supernode goto 'file'/'jumpsupernode'

just for a test, try downloading a really popular file, such as a rolling stones song or something, see if you download speed increases. if it does, this means that you downloads were slow because of lack of sources.

any extremely wise man once said-
your download speed depends on the # of sources for it and their upload speed, anddon't be fooled by whatyou see in the search window they are not an indication of who is available for connection so change supernodes to see if you get lucky, also use localized supernodes, also try changing ports, and lower your upload bandwidth, remove the no ip sources from your dat files and see if it helps
