Why is it. Someone starts a thread on a particular Band/Artist or Genre and it turns into a flame war about the music ??

Can you people not accept that everyone has their own tastes and stop bitching and ruining other peoples threads. The Top 15 Eminem thread is a great example of this.

I just dont understand how people jump into the threads to cause arguments. Why dont the mods delete such posts ?

In my opinion, music is intended to incite feelings in people, be they joy, anger, whatever. It just so happens that some people aren't satisfied with lettings others have their own particular choice in music and try to almost force people to comply with their personal opinions...

Well, that would cause somewhat bad reactions,
Freedom of Speech and Democracy which is not btw how this board is based on.
This is a Private Board where Mods enforce the rules with their best judgement.

I was trying to do similar topic, actually it got Pinned by another Mod
and you go see the results.

I dont want to edit the post because it would look like I would try to

Sorry mate wasn&#39;t trying to make the mods look bad. And I understand what your saying but.

When a thread is made for the fans of a certain artist to discuss that artist why should that thread be ruined with a load of off topic posts bitching about the artist and genre.

If a topic is made purely to take the piss out of a Artist/band or Genre then that&#39;s great. Then its a debate rather than just taking over someone&#39;s thread with crap.

Anyway had my whinge for tonight and I hope some good will come out of this thread. Goodnight ;)

I gotta agree with Nogimics, if you don&#39;t lie music or have nothing else to say as to rant about it stay out, but i guess that goes for all topics on this forum.
As for the modding sometimes we do edit or delete some stuff out, if there is something you encounter and think is ompletely wrong, just use the report button, mods will check it then.
