ok my dad gave me this NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 graphix card a
long time ago. i never tryed to see if it works till now .
i updated the drivers and it says This device is working properly.
how can i test if it works??? :helpsmile:

This is a very silly topic.

You say that you just tried the card and you even say that it shows "This device is working properly." and you still want to know if it works? :lol: :lol:

What are you using to view that? Isn't it going through the card to display it on your screen?

What do you mean by "how can i test if it works???"

EDIT: He never said it worked. He said he hasnt tested it. :P

my mother borad already has a VGA port
so do i realy need it is what im cinda trying to say :D

You have a integrated SiS 315 graphics chipset on that system. The SiS' 315 is a little bit slower than a GeForce2 MX.

So... Yes there would be a performance benefit by adding that GeForce4 MX 420 card.

I think you need to know the basics of the G-CARD before you go on...
You might tamper with something you don't want to mess...
