this is my rig i just built, my first from the ground up.


AMD ATHLON 64 3200+ 2.0GHZ (OC TO 2.15GHZ) 1MB L2 CACHE SOCKET-754 CPU

Nice, you should OC it alittle more ;) And those turquois pins dont really match the rest. Pretty nice though.

oc'ing this chip makes it very unstable. and i changed the thumbscrews in the back (was an old pic) now they really dont match.

That is like the exact PC im going to be building soon, same CPU, same hard drive, same ram and same gfx card. Hows it working? how much did it cost? where did you get your parts from?

as for the rig, it runs great. fast as hell when your pushing a 1600fsb. i can do a complete virus scan in 11 min. defrag in 15 min. benchmarks at 6200 with 3dmark2003.

nice. hows that psu? mines been giving me some probs, and i might replace it. how "heavy duty" is it?

i didnt know much about &#39;powermagic&#39; but &#036;27 for a 600w is a hellva deal. havent had a problem yet. if i do, shit ill just pickup an antec.

it says the fan speed is automatically controlled. is there any way u can manually control it? like a knob or something?

nope, and another thing is with all the fans the system is loud. it sounds like a mainframe. but im not to worried about that. but i was thinking about watercooling in the distant future.

i dont know, i dont have any sensors on the board... it their a progam that will allow you to see the temps?

checking in your bios is teh most accurate, next favorite way is to use motherboard monitor 5, then there is speedfan. your motherboard may have come with a program for monitoring the fans and temps so you could also use that.
