Is there any way I can unlock my motherboard? Its a GVC DR742E.

So I can access the multiplier. Hopefully to oc my cpu. Running out of options :unsure:

You mean the BIOS is passworded?

I can get into the BIOS but when I get into the frequency setting and stuff, It says its locked. The cpu is an Intel Celeron <_<

Intel multipliers have been locked for a long time now, and you will have a very hard time trying to change that, if you can change that.

I have a way of changing it. Its called an f&#39;in hammer :frusty: Good thing im gettin a new Athlon 2000+ for free.

you will need a new mobo to go with that athlon xp 2000+...

@madcat, i think its just the multiplier that is locked, the fsb is unlocked though. i think. some motherboards you need to press a certain combination of keys to unlock the advanced options, try looking in yuor manual or if u cant find it try searching online.

Yea, ive googled and everything. Everything related to ocing is locked. But I got a 1st Mainboard AN17 for free too.
