Ms. Xxxxx
Recent documents received by this bureau indicate you have been involved in the unauthorized downloading and transferring of licensed music. Federal laws mandate that you immediately cease and desist all illegal activities pertaining to music theft. Further, you are required by law to pay all incurred penalties in conjunction with Amendment 34-C, officially passed on March 10, 2003.
In accordance with state jurisdictions, your failure to pay these penalties in full within 30 days of receipt of this notice will result in a warrant for your arrest. We are also required by law to inform you that a second offense will result in a minimum jail sentence of 90 days.
Penalties incurred in your particular case may be reviewed on our government Web site. All cases are deemed confidential. Penalties are assessed by each individual download, charged at a nonnegotiable rate of $1,200 per infraction. Click your specific case number (Case No.: RG38751) to view the total amount due or to dispute your case.
Sincerely,
Jay Roth

Ohboy, I thought their claws couldn't reach outside the US. I haven't downloaded squat except for a few things needed for research. I was only sharing a few lame songs so I wouldn't be placed in leechville. Ohboy, yes, saying it again. I've bashed the RIAA over and over. Yikes, have they checked out my diatribes against them or something?
I have to calm down and examine this closer. Ok, the header, I'll trace every IP shown.

Hmmm, liquidgeneration.com, could be a spoofed address but a trace led to liquidgeneration in Chicago. Weird, I've got chills and gut is beginning to churn. WTF? I'm with that mother who's suing the RIAA, these strong-arm brutes are racketeers. Let people denounce her for using the RICO act to go after these ratbastards, I'm sure going to take some action.
I deviated from my norm and opened it in Outlook. I clicked the link to click to see what the fines would be if I didn't pay before court, I spotted the dread acronym RIAA as it tallied the numbers, my thoughts going wild as it was approaching the 20 thou mark. Part of me was saying, you're not in the states, they can't touch you.
OMFG. I am in egg-faced, red-faced, wide-eyed shock and disbelief. Hahaha. I've been SABOTAGED!!!! This is like getting PUNK'D or like that Scare Tactics show I despise. Hell, it's like Candid Camera in a way. I've never been on the receiving end of getting tricked and I pride myself in smelling a con before it's ConJured. Not this time. Take a look at what I found after the number generator finished. Click here. I'm still laughing hard.
Intrigued, I checked out liquidgeneration. I really recommend it for anyone with fondness for semi-sophomoric humor, who likes to laugh, watch flash parodies, play movie triva and music games or to learn the truth about Britany's boobs or howl through a parody of Oukast -- Saddam peforming "Hey Allah". There's enough to keep one busy and amused for hours. It's quite respite from the real world. Be sure to check out the things at the bottom of the page. This site just doesn't quit!
Just to illustrate the "realness" of liquidaudio, click here to see a site one would never suspect to be bogus. It's about the burgeoning porn industry in Iraq.
Woohoo, I've been SABOTAGED!!! Relief was instant, yet I'm embarrassed I fell for it. I will never know who The Prankster is. Oh well, all in all it was a fun, yet scary experience.
