View Full Version : Is The Board Getting Slower?

Lately the board seems slow and yesterday it even went down for a while.
Sometimes it takes ages for me to get into the Lounge, the worlds, etc.
I even had troubles posting this thing! :(
Is it just me and everything is fine with all of you?
If so, I think I&#39;ll call my ISP. <_<

Yes i have the same problem... i just had my first SPAM... didn&#39;t wanted it though&#33;
I just typed a message and wanted to add it.. nothing happens... clicked BACK and Add post again...

Had to restart my kazaa... and found out there are two posts.. and the same&#33;

Deleted the text of one... Some times i can&#39;t connect and it gives a error page: To many users.. (not bad hey?) this is just a great forum...

Let&#39;s wait for the Sysop&#39;s to work out the problem&#33; :P

I do notice fluctuations,but not that site is down.
You have to try loading other sites for real comparison. B)

I just booted my machine, was on my way to lounge and my explorer got stuck, didn&#39;t find anything. It might be my puter thats gettin funky too... go figure. Got WinXPpro, and as some sorta protection i got Sygate firewall and Norton A-virus on most of the time.

I have had no problems, then of course the whole thing is faster for me because I&#39;m on a faster connection :P

Nah it&#39;s loading just fine for me, was last night and is today, thus far anyway.

Yea, I think it was Sunday morning that it slowed down... ALOT. It&#39;s fine now though. :)

It could be and that there are so many connections that are made... maybe a word from Jon or and admin could help... :blink:

Maybe the slightest pauses now and then but... It all seems ok to me and has been for quite some time. I don&#39;t think it&#39;s because of too many users. I have seen this forum handle more traffic than now without problems.

I&#39;ve always noticed the board is slower in an evening when more people are on. Good knows what it&#39;ll be like when the number of members has doubled (which won&#39;t be very long by the looks of it).

PS...... 100th post&#33; :D

It&#39;s possible that the "too many connection" error pages appears because the max connection value of the MySQL Server is a bit too low for such a big board. Maybe we caused too much cpu load and the admin changed the value to a lower one .. seems that there are running some other projects on this server ;).

I&#39;ll try to contact Jon in a few hours ..

I got that and wondered what that was? :(

One minute there was loads of people in here the next there was hardly any :unsure:

It told me to send an Email to you, but that would&#39;nt send either :lol:

But at the moment is seems to be flying with no page faults or promt&#39;s to refresh the page. ;)

in the last few days i haven&#39;t had any errors.. the weekend it the work
