Nv40 3dmark 2003 Scores?

theinquirer.net is reporting (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=15169) 3DMark 2003 scores of 12,535 for pre-production NV40 samples.

We all know about Nvidia "optimising" drivers for these benchmarks, so scores should be taken with a pinch or two of salt but the figures, if they are true, are impressive, no?

The inquirer has a habit of spreading rumours with no fact behind them, and in general reporting false information. I'd wait till the proper benchmarks are out.
