hi, i just got a laptop but it doesnt have a ethnet port, so i cant share files between my pcs untill i get a card for it, anyway is there any other ways that i can share files for now untill i get that card like usb, or phone jacks?

well u can try serial port or parallel port file sharing but thats incredibly slow and i never managed to get it to work properly with my computer, it would get a connection but files still couldnt share. oh well.

there is also some usb network things but they probably cost more than ehternet card so just wait till you buy one.

or you can use cds\floppies\pen drives to share files :)

Don't bother with the USB network they are only good for sharing internet connection I used to use one when it comes to transfering files it's as slow as hell, When I found out the port in my laptop was actually a ethnet port and not a phone jack  it was the best £5 I've ever spent can transfer movies from laptop to pc in under 5 minites.

Are you using windows as a OS. Does it have USB Ports? Try using USB Adapter (http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/broadbandnetworking/productdetails.aspx?pid=010). I sure there ways to make work in linux too if you use that.
