Can you burn 2 hours worth of music on a normal blank cd-r?? If so what burning program do I need and what do i need to do. I have 16 songs that equal 2 hours. I hope it can be done.

Cheers

I suppose there's a reason they call it an "80 minute CD-r" rather then a 120 min. one...

What do you want to play it with? Normal stereo? MP3 player? On your PC?

If you wanna play it on an mp3 compatible cd player you can get a hell of a lot more than 2 hours worth as long as its in mp3 format

A normal Stereo doesnt play MP3so you have to burn the files as audio, in that case 2 hours worth of music does not fit on a 80 minute CDr. So either burn it on 2 Cdr's or buy an MP3 player.

You must be kidding or you must be really, really new to this....

Sorry I just found this question funny can you fit 2 hrs on a 80 min CD

anyway as for the person who said DVDrs NO way! you cannot burn as audio on a DVDR!! you can burn as data but good luck finding a player that will read it

wrong its not possible at all!!! if you burn as audio size bit rate does not matter it's all to do with the length!!

:nono: you are wrong Adster
kacd as ck-uk pointed out is right :frusty:
You can easily get ~5 hours of CD quality music per CD, and play it on any DVD player that supports VCDs

I'm talking about playing on a Stereo CD Normal Player not a DVD player

ok. but you cannot go over 700mb of music on a cd regardless of how much "time" you have left. i assumed it worked the other way too.
