We need to know what motherboard you have...does it have mounting holes or are you limited to a socket mount HS.

What chip are you running?

Order your priorities...noise, performance or cost?

Neither of those would cool your cpu though, isnt that was you were aiming at?
what temps of yours are high? all, or just your cpu? or just case temp? if you want any help, give some more info

Personally, I'd advise you to go for the AK824cu (with or without lights), or the AK825 if you want manual speed control. Both have a copper base and 80mm fans (quieter), but they will fit all motherboards thanks to their design.

Ebuyer don't do Akasa coolers.

Try Dabs - AK824cu (http://www.dabs.com/uk/channels/components/processors/productView.htm?quicklinx=2WB1) or AK825 (http://www.dabs.com/uk/channels/components/processors/productView.htm?quicklinx=301Q).

No it won't. It will only move air around inside your case. In fact it is made to cool the graphics card and may actually heat up the inside of your case.

Get some case fans that improve overall airflow though the case.

kaiweiler

yes, some 80mm case fans would work much better then that
I actually made one of those pci card things out of 2 80mm fans and an empty metal pci slot thing, was quite simple, but yeah, 80mm are the way to go, or even a 92 or somethin if you have the room for it

i got no room.
could i get a faster 80mm fan so it blows more air out?

make sure it is running at its full speed. Just drill some 80mm wholes and screw the fans in!

there aint any room for some fans apart from 1 at the front but it will be hard to put in i would have to take out my hard drive and the thing it slots in to

lol u call that hard? try taking out hard drives, cdrom drives (used to have to take out floppy but since i dont use it anymore i dont have one) then removing the hole front panel from the computer case (including the power switch, led, etc. wires to remove it). that a lot of work...just to put in two screws into a fan (i dont have enough of the right kind for all my fans)...thats a lot of work, then you gotta put it back together again. but i enjoy working on my computer so its kool B)

 how could u do that  there is no cutting involved in removing a hard drive...all you do is pull out two wires from it.
