Adware.topsearch And Norton

Norton anti-virus is pulling up adware.topsearch in it's scan. Low threat and when I researched it on symantec's website it said that certain kazaa programs might not run if I delete this. Is this true? Or can I let Norton do the job?

used norton for years never had any problems worst case buggers up k then just put that back.

It's safe to remove.
