View Full Version : 128mb Flash Drive Help Asap

I have a flash drive that has 128mb on it, and i have been using it over the last couple of days and all, i tried to plug it in and use it just now but the light wont come on to recoinze it, i have a lot of important school information on it and i really need to recover it or get the device to work so it will show up and i can get it. Can anyone at all help me with this issue, i duno if the warrenty is still in tack and i might could get another one but i need the data , if i get the data i will get the new one later.

that sucks...

do thos things use drivers? try reinstalling the driver, or try using a differnt usb port. if neither of those work try using it on that computer you built.

is ur os at least windows 2000 and xp?

you have to install drivers if ur os is less than that

u might wanna watch ur language here if you want help

you should contact the manuf for ur problems, if xp can't recongnize the flash drive then there is something wrong with it

did u try another usb port?

yes i did, and i hav tried 3 os xp pro, windows 2000, and 98

maybe there is a problem with ur computer. did you try at another computer and see if it works?

if all the computers u've tried dont work, then ur usb flash drive may have a problem and u need to bring it to a computer technician to extract the information inside.

do you know of a good cheap place to go, and do you kno if the data can be recovered? i bought it at circuit city, and i think it has a warrenty still on it so i will go by there tommorow and check on it.
