Forgot Main Account Password?

How do you get back into your computer if you've forgotten the admin windows password?

Don't ask me anything about specs; I'm asking for someone else, it's either WinXP or 98 :unsure:

Couldn't decide which world to put this in, this seemed the most likely.

sorry , you can get in to anyones comp if you dont have the password

its called secuity, try formating and reinstalling windows

be extreemly carefull doing the above , you do it wrong and its a format anyway , and your dad is realy gunna be upset with you then lol

if you have a user with admin privileges get them to reset the password

(this only works in nt os's i think).

on the other hand if you dont have an admin...you will have to format and reinstall.
