Are there any other bikers in here and if so what have you got. Unfortunately I don't have my bikes anymore as I had to sell them to buy a nice family car. But this is what I had.

Honda VFR400R for playing on.
http://www.bikez.com/bike/8300/index.jpg

Honda CBR600F for touring on.

Going to have to get myself another one with summer just round the corner.

Nice bikes... but imo, this (http://www.mcnews.com.au/NewsArchives/2002/Dodge_Cycle.htm) is a spaceship. :)

Can't say I'd call that a bike as it has four wheels.

Nice enough if you want to ride in a straight line, but if thats all you want to do just buy a harley - it's all their good for. :P

The 1,500-pound Tomahawk can reach 60 miles an hour in about 2.5 seconds, and has a theoretical top speed of 300 mph
:o

at a price of at least $250,000 each

:o

wow that would be one great toy to play with

Harleys are great if you want to ride in a straight line, with flies in your teeth and you'd better pray it doesn't rain cause within the hour it's going to look as rusty as hell. :D

Friend of mine's got one of these
http://www.harley-davidson-london.co.uk/warrs/bikeims/l634.JPG
XL1200C Sportster

Sportster, they ought to be sued for false advertising. Every time I go round to see him he's in the garge cleaning the chrome, he won't take it out in the rain because he's got to clean it when he gets back. Before I got married and had to sell my bikes a group of us would go for a ride every sunday morning. Half a dozen of us, we'd head from Birmingham (UK) over to Wales for the day. Before we set off we'd have to tell him where we were going and how to get there. While we were on the motorway there wasn't a problem, nice straight road we were all together but as soon as we got to the welsh country lanes we'd completely loss him. We'd all be hanging off the sides of our plastic bullets, getting our knees down and he'd be 5 miles behind us. Still it did mean he never had to buy the first round. :D

This is what I'm saving up for the Triumph Sprint ST, British built tourer

And if she comes with it even better. :D :D :D

As I'm new to this and haven't studied up enough on how to do many things I can't suppley a picture at the moment but I ride a '94 Yamaha V-Max and my lady has an '88 Sportster.

Having trouble with my computer and can't shake the problem. After installing a USR v.92 modem have been having nothing but problems with the mouse arrow and hour glass flashing continously and have to wait for the words to catch up to see what has been writen. Right in the middle of sending the first letter, it went blank and so restarted another and sent.

Some days can go for hours without a problem, and others it starts right from the beginning so I never know just what is going to happen when I try to send something. Sorry.

The top one is the one I have, even to the color.

Just received some AutoGLYM for both bikes, sorely in need of something after being covered for the winter and the snow.

@ Sequish

The Vrod's certainly a nice looking bike.........for Harley.

http://a1276.g.akamai.net/7/1276/734/infinite/www.harley-davidson.com/media/images/productphotos/Motorcycles/2002Models/VRSC/02_VRSC_VROD_alum_M_f7a7.jpg

But it's not really a contender against superbikes, for one thing it's a cruiser so it's in a different category. If you compair the Vrod against say a Honda CBR600F Super I can't see how it can possibly keep up. The Vrod has a 1130cc engine the CBR has 599cc engine almost half. The Vrod's top speed is 140mph where as the CBR has a top speed of 165mph.

The only thing that has surprised me is that the Vrod is supposed to be a cruiser but it'll only do 120miles on a tank of fuel, I would've expected it to do more than that. It's also a bit expensive at £13,995 where as I can pick a CBR up for about £6300.

the only reason its called a cruiser is so harley people would give it a chance.
as for compairing a vrod against a honda cbr6oof,a vrod is a 5 spead 115hp 9000 rpm red line backroad rocket and 140mpg is fast enough for back roads(its hard to hang on in that upright position any ways :P )
check out this clip, cant wait till spring :)

LMAO :D

a vrod is a 5 spead 115hp 9000 rpm red line backroad rocket
Where as a CBR is a 6 speed 115bhp 12,500 rpm red-line plastic bullet

(its hard to hang on in that upright position any ways :P )
Are you trying to say it handles like a jelly on a skateboard. :D

It certainly looks good though, I'm sure I've read somewhere that Porsche help Harley with it's development. Not sure whether that was the styling of the bike or the engine!

Don't laugh, but the bike I have is a lot of fun and great on gas milage!

It is a HONDA scooter 80cc. 2-seater. Transmission (no chain), electric start. All street legal. I get about 60 mile to the gallon. Has a 2cycle engine, so I got to add the special petrol to it.

I'm going to do a custom paint job on it this spring. Why not, I have air brushes and a few paint sprayers.

I said quit laughing. When gas is $7.00 a gallon, I'll be the one laughing.

Cheers! :)

Sorry LK, when you sent the pix thought all I'd have to do is say which of the two was like mine.

And the E-Branch is from the author, Brian Lumley who writes the Necromancer series and they search out Vampires to kill them and their leeches.
