firefox is the latest mozilla but cut down to the browser only. konkerer(mispelling) seen pretty neat at the moment here (http://www.skittlebrau.org/kde-user-persp/) seems pretty cool.
Firefox. And what the hell is bulio talking about, it's Phoenix / Firebird 0.8 renamed.

well i like mozilla over firebird/thunderbird/firefox, or whatever it's called this week because it has browse offline mode. that speeds up navigating back to a site just to see it again without updating the page, plus mozilla come with more options (imnsho)
Mozilla has better functionality with plugins like flash, and blockdown java. You still have to link them sysmbolically if your going to use flash and java for either.

Oops typo. That was supposed to be "blackdown" java (http://www.blackdown.org/) which is better than the sun java on linux anyway.
When you install plugins for mozilla it generally will place them in user profiles as well. Like ~./mozilla/plugins directory. Linking the java plugin and the flash plugin as root will automatically allow other users of mozilla to have it as well. That's because mozilla uses a system wide configuration.
Firefox does not. Even with binaries or particular packages for your system you still have to link the plugins yourself. That's why firefox only works best if you just download a tarball, extract it in your home directory, and use it. It only works for one user. Any other way and you will see problems arise. I suppose it does not handle profiles well. :)
