Well, with a bit of work, you can create an Unattended XP CD (http://unattended.msfn.org/). It'll install your software for you.

But you could always just put the installers on another CD and install it over after you reinstall XP.

Just moving folders won't work. You would either have to reinstall the apps or make damn sure you have all the registry entries, and all the files. Even so, you might still have problems. Not all the files are in the program's installation folder.

I always burn my apps to disc every few weeks. As well as my sig solution. :)

If you keep the installers for the programs then that should be fine.

Suprnova (http://www.suprnova.org/)
Google (http://www.google.com/)
klitetools (http://www.klitetools.com/)

Yeps. Here's a suggestion. Once you gather up all the installers, burn them (better if its on a cdrw), so that you have them all there in case you want to reformat again, then you just go one by one installing.

I got one, and it's named Essentials 1.0 :D
