right when i go on things this comes up and the only way the programs work is if i untick the box but i dont want the thing coming up in the first place so i want to stop it coming up when i go on things.

well all i had to do was untik that little box and then i could run and install programs :lol:

but the problem is i have to do it every time so

r u the only one that uses the computer?
how did the Permissions was it u that set the passwords?

there are no passwords

and yes iam the only one who uses the PC and theres only 1 account

ok usualy that will only come up if you change users or log on with a different account , when the software was installed on a different user

thus for some reason ou have either changed users accounts, or your local policy settings have gone currupt

honestly , best bet, format it mate, once this crap starts happening you could be chasing you tail forever

it should take u an hour to format and reinstall xp, beats hours and hours trying to fix something that might not be fixable

Not exactly sure m8.Try lookin in user account in control panel

or start , run type "gpedit" comp config ,windows settings ,

Have you tried re-installing the program and making it available to all users.

I think formatting a disk and re-installing windows xp, adjusting all of your settings, re-installing all programs including web access and security, basically getting the computer back the way it was will take a bit more than an hour.

I generally set aside half a day to do it. That is with all the necessary disks available.
