Port 80 Supernodes

How do I find a supernode that connects with port 80?

for local just set your kazaa to use port 80
for remote KaZuperNodes will show what port the nodes use.

i dont believe anyone would set their port to 80 as this is your http port and it would realy crap around with your surfing

Port 80 (Internet port) is for http.

when you "surf" the net, youre connecting to remote port 80's you're not using local port 80. and my guess is alot of supernodes use port 80 as it's the standard alt listening port on kazaa

and yes some uni./corp firewalls only allow connections to remote port 80 (and a few others) to block everything except website browsing

Right, I'm behind a school network... It was working before (Klite)... I think it had actually randomly managed to connect to a supernode that was using port 80. Since that's one of the few (I think port 21 is open as well, not sure) ports that are open, I was hoping that I could find a supernode and connect to it... the problem with KaZupernNodes is that I can't ... search for supernodes with port 80 or specifically target them. Any help appreciated... TiA.

well i can't help you with KaZuperNodes as it locks up on my PC whenever i try to run it, but i do know there is a collumn just for the port the supernodes are using, i would guess you can delete the others or at least connect to the ones on port 80 with it, or set them as higher priorty. maybe FTFakes will read this.

EDIT even though most SN's won't be listed as listening on port 80, they probaly have it enabled as an alt listning port and your kazaa should automaticly try it if it cant connect to the standard port.
can you get connected just by starting kazaa?

More EDIT: also on your end don't use port 1214 for your listening port, if a random port won't work, try 443 or 25 :ph34r:
you might not be able to access encripted webpages (443) or POP mail (25) while kazaa's running and you might set off some remote users zonealarm :blink: but you gotta do what you gotta do :P

Port 25 is the rlogin port on Windows boxes. :ninja:
