Hi everyone,
I'm on a small budget of around £650 so I don't expect nothing really great..
The current laptop I have is a Athlon 1800+ and it's causing me mass problems it's in repair as we speak so I've decided to sell that once it gets fixed altogether it works out I'll have around £650.

Can anyone tell me what this laptop is like?
I'm not very good when it comes to laptops so I wouldn't know a bargin if it kicked me up the ass

Also if anyone knows any other good sites in the UK which do good laptops I'd love to see it.

ALDI in the UK actually had an excellent deal on a Pentium 4 3.0Ghz with a Go5600 GPU, and 512 mB of RAM, among other nice things. £999, a great deal, but over your budget. I'd watch ALDI catalogues for a while if I were you.

I needed one urgently so I could complete my coursework as I've got to go away from my pc for a bit on a course.

I went for this one in the end http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/in...oduct_uid=59718 (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=59718)

It arrives thursday, I hope it's alright. What do you think?

yeah it's alright, nothing top of the line for sure, but for that price it's decent

ya seems pretty good. might wanna add some more ram though, another 256mb should be fine. and also you may want a bigger hard drive if your going to be downloading movies and stuff with it, otherwise its a good size for everyday use.
