Its a mod for Invision forums in which users get "currency" everytime they post. They can then use it too buy stuff like "glowing names" and "change another members name".

Its nothing special and would be a bit messy on a board like this (with thousands of members changing each others names and signatures at once). It may also encourage members to spam to get some money and the novelty wears off soon enough :rolleyes:

Yeah. I&#39;ve been to a board where there are Invision shops... they do add a bit more fun to things... it would be nice to add those features....

Then people would start complaining baout people spamming again, the recently died down post count debate would open again and everything would go nuts.

It sounds like a laugh but I reckon it would cause more trouble than its worth :(

You can steal other peoples money, and actually get them negative money.
for 800 000 you can buy your way to being an admin with every right, and with negative money you could quite simply get -800 000, thus become admin without efford.

at least thats what me and a friend did on a forum with an asshat admin.

:lol: ibShop is a bad idea, it has more security holes than Windows and phpBB (combined&#33; :P) and there&#39;s really no point to it.

A mod we really need here is this one (http://www.filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=105724). It&#39;s just that I&#39;m too lazy to port it to IPB. :D

That mod sounds nice and btw name is kool too but i dont use vbulletin. I always found IPB and phpbb the easiest and the most reliable ones but i am new to this stuff so ...

IPSHOP is great idea, buy stuff like name Effict and soemthing else will add fun to this board .

I know many people are concerned about spamming if a shop is added, but there are other ways of gaining "money". From what I recall, you can play games and there even is a thing where you can give out "Free Money" in the shop. I would say add it, but if spam heats up here, just remove it.
