Overnet Lite 0.53

To check if the file has the right hash (You can say if it is intact) you need an SFV checker, I recommend QuickSFV (http://zarius.com/quicksfv/qsfv222.exe) since its very easy to use.

I D/L Overnet0.53 from metamachine, got lots ADware/Spyware again.
It should be cleaned one more time.
With your clean client, it is very nice.

The regular overnet contains no spy/adware, its optional :blink:

im assuming this release is only gets rids of the ads and not the ratio stuff

Only the ads, If it was possible to remove some rations the Overnet network would be ruined. Incl. I havn't changed a single byte in the exe file.

The official install program, in my eyes, sucks big time since when it downloads stuff, and when yuo wanna uninstall Overnet, sometimes it only removes the application 70%

I made my own installer, whitch at the same time gives you Overnet Pro in an easy user friendly way. Incl. it doesn't have any pesky ads included (Some official 0.52 had) or attempts to download any.

Although im sure i spotted an overnet lite which removed the 10KB limit in the previous version...

Nope, its a new one, its now named ADRemover.dll

You should be able to just run the new installer and overwrite the old one.

Thanks guys this is really good the pro dll error was causing my computer to crash so this is very useful. I like the small changes. Any plans to get a preveiwer in there?

If I even add extra features I would just include extra plugins, but I dount a preview plugin will be made since Overnet splits the temp files in a lot of files, its not just 1 file like in eMule.

I guess it doesn't make to much difference as the files on overnet seem to be a hell of a lot more trust worthy than fastrack.

When you check the "old style" box in the options it will create 1 big temp file and 1 or 2 smaller files like emule does <_<

But good work with this release ;) :D better than 0.52 lite which i had problems loading with :lol: :lol:

Just try to find the ed2k links for what you need on sites similar to the now dead ShareReactor. ShareLive (http://www.sharelive.com) is one, there too is a bundle of others.

A suggestion why don&#39;t you do the same with the next overnet release :rolleyes: Add some links in the start menu folder to verified sites like they do in the custom emule installer ;)

Ihave just installed this and people are uploading of me fine but my searches arent being resolved. They just sit there spinning away for ages.

I have tried with common things and rare things. Can anyone help me out with this please? :(

I want my Overnet installer to be as clean as possible ;)
Incl. most ed2k link sites contains illegal links, so I don&#39;t want my installer to be illegal.

:smilie4: .... weird... seem that I am the only one who has problem here using the new overnet lite. It takes away almost 100% of my CPU resources... and I am sure it is not because of the loader that I use with 0.52. Guess that I have to stick with the older version. :(

I discontinued eDonkey2000 Lite since eMule is suppirior to eDonkey. ;)

i just switched to Emule from Kazaalite but the downloads are so slow; btw I have broadband.

Is this Overnet Lite a better/faster program, anyone recommend making the switch from Emule?
