Ive been waiting for this...and viruses..

Friday, 16 April 2004
MILLIONS of people risk having personal information stored in their mobile phones stolen by a hi-tech electronic eavesdropping device, experts warned yesterday.

It would enable pedophiles, terrorists and industrial spies to hack into handsets without the victims even realising.

Everything stored - not only phone numbers but increasingly diary entries, photographs, credit card pin numbers, home alarm systems and Internet banking sites - can be stolen using a laptop and a simple piece of software.

Yeah, it is scary when ppl needs to Hax everything.
Some phones have these Operation-System-Look-A-Likes,
its a matter of time when Viruses are reaching the phones.

But also other angle could be considered here,
some AV company would scream about how dangerous
this and maybe sell some more of their special program to fix the problem,
with a special price of cource.

I dont have anything in my Nokia phone that could possible damage me.
Some jokes perhaps but i dont concider them to be more nasty than
everyday chatter in this board.

A good point, or a funny atleast.

I cant wait when the first Linux Phones hits the market.
Going to get one of those for my sisters to play with. . lol
Nothin like a black command prompt asking for login etc., how secksy is that?
Or, a phone with WinXP OS, he he he...

As the way technology is going, sooner or later we get Phones that carry
huge OS's, and then comes the morons with them Viruses and whatnot.

Im going to stick to this phone i have until it gets hax0red, then i'll see the options
available.

Already had one of them trojans that keep adding a page to yer favourites.

To get hacked the way they speak of though, it requires that you've left the bluetooth connection open, I only ever have it open at home when transferring files.
