OK everyone,,,, I really cant be botherd to get into a slagging match.

I am totaly into P2P ,and hate thies people who constuct and share fake files.
I have allways had the latest norton anti-virus/internet security
and untill resently never had any trojan/virus get through !

I still believe that editing the description/Filename could'nt be missed
anyone searching for a file that was shared by menny users, could see that,

or they would see that someone had added a description discribeing it as

the problem lies in the facts:
1) people will only see your changes to filename/description if they expand the view in the search window and mouse over you

2) most people won't find you in the original "search" but by "searching for more sources" once its in the traffic window, and those are done by filehash. they wont be able to see your filename or description, and you will be helping spread crap files.

EDIT oh and back on topic... you might be surprised what info is sent to the "mothership" when you (or attempt to) aquire a DRM license for a file :ph34r:

For someone who is supposedly into P2P, you have failed to mention or refer to anything regarding verifieds. This is why there should be no need to alter the description in any way shape or form!

maybe ime wrong ,,,i beleived that everyone could see "wotever had been writen the most" about the file when they mouse over the files listed in the files found window.


I am not really interested in arguing with people about this.
most of my files are movies, so as i'me stuck with a 56K connection it takes agess to download/upload anything. I WOULD have seen any of the (etited descriptions fakes)
that i have temperely shared......i have never had anyone download thies files.

I believed that I was doing people a service by having thies disspicable files on my harddrive, in order to deter others from waisting there time.

I have used verifieds.com in the passed ,(hopefully this is wot you refer to) but lately havent found it to be not working.

anyway,,,wot i really nice bunch of people you all are........................

No it is not.

I suggest you start doing some research into verifieds so you're a bit up do date...

I also recommend your first port of call would be to download some sort of spelling and grammer software. I believe it would enhance your posts somewhat <_<
