Hi,

How many connections do you have (preferences-connections) in E-mule?
Just wondered what the best settings are?
What work best for you?

Currently I've got 500Max sources per file/ 1000 Max connections!
Not sure why really??? Just read those settings somewhere???

I have 512/256 Dsl, 2.53 P4, Windows XP, 512ddr Ram.

Cheers.

For your connection I would say:

300 connections
800 sources per file

The max connections is the sum of people your downloading from and uploading to, server communication and searches. So 300-500 is more than enough for most users and higher numbers can overloader routers and computers. :)

Hey guys what you recommend for emule connections for me? I currently have it set for 500 sources/2500 max connections. Is there any better setting for me? Also for download speed I got it set for 375 KB with no limitation and upload have it set for 10 KB limit.

Have 3000 KB Download/256 Upload. 1 GB Memory, 2 Gig AMD Athlon Processor

Max sources (hard limit): 1000 (or less)
Max connections: max 500
Limit upload: 25kB/S
Limit download: 300kB/S

Uploads gives faster downloads... :)
