hrmm, u sure? why would they make a chip that doesn't support Multimedia Instruction: MMX, SSE, 3DNOW!, 3DNOW!+? but, i see what ur saying. it's not in the description...

and damn, i see where it says refurbished now. must had missed it. thx.

Don't buy a OEM AMD CPU. Get a 'retail box' one instead. I comes with a cooler and a way better warranty.

You could also save money and get the 2500+ and run it at 3200+ speeds. Many other members have done that here.

true, but aren't all 2500's now locked?

Yes, the multiplyer is locked but... to run at 3200+ speed all you need to do is change the Front Side Bus speed from 333 to 400. That isn't locked.

I had a question say I bought a 2500+ but my mother board says it only supports chips up to 3000+ would I still be able to OC to 3200+

You need to check exactly which version of the board and bios release you've got. Some of early nvidia chipset boards only support 333MHz FSB so you can't OC to give equivalent of a XP3200. Other boards can physically support 400MHz FSB but need a bios upgrade.

Unfortunately I don't think that board supports 400MHz FSB, but even if it did you would probably struggle with the heat in such a small case.

Then can u make a 2500+ a 3000+ instead of 3200+

So what would I change the fsb to to make a 2500+ a 3000+?

You would need to change the multiplier to do that, and as has already been said that's now locked.

You can TRY increasing the FSB, but there's no guarantee that the chipset will be stable at higher speeds. It may get a little too warm so you need to watch the mobo temp carefully as well as the cpu temp.
