Hey,

Anyone know of a decent reliable site that is offering free webspace to the amount of 50MB plus? I'm currently using freewebs.com but they really suck. The speeds people are getting are no higher than 1-2KB/Sec.

Cheers in advance, Samurai

Anyone used 150m.com (http://www.150m.com/) or freewebspace-4u.de (http://www.freewebspace-4u.de/)?

Ignore these both. They both have limits of 1MB upload

Any ideas people?

Ok...

Anyone have some serious suggestions for domain names? Obviously, I'd prefer to keep the word 'samurai' in the url.

Perhaps something like samuraihq.com or something...

Thanks ;)

Yea I noticed the prices are decent.

Here's a breakdown of what I've spent today...

All plans come as standard with the following features:
Frontpage Extensions
Squirrelmail/Webmail
Squirrelmail/Webmail
Site Statistics
Unlimited Forwarders / Autoresponders
Custom Error pages

400MB Web Space
4GB Data transfer
120 Mysql Databases
120 Subdomains
120 FTP Accounts
120 Pop3 Accounts

Monthly: $7.99
Quarterly: $21.99
Yearly: $85.99

I've gone for Quarterly @ $21.99

Also domain name @ $6.95 x 2 years = $13.90

Total:
----------------------------

$35.89 Converted to GBP = £20.3066

I'm laughing  That's nothing compared to what I would have paid in the UK

godaddy.com still seems to be the cheapest... possibly because of the sale that ends on April 30th.

@CoolMac - Nice prices but they have a setup charge of $10
@SH - Very similar to godaddy.com except the prices are slightly higher, not by much though, roughly $2 p/year
