Ok i just saw the movie "The Punisher"

I am very disappointed in the hollywood productions coming out nowadays. So many of the films promote violence and hatred. I am especially disappointed in John Trovalta in his role, it's not due to bad acting, he's a very good actor but I dont understand why he wants to be protraied that way, it's very bad image for him.

Dunno why but he is always the bad guy except in "Face Off"

I'd rate this movie 2 out of 5 <_<

omg... this movie is supposed to be violent... the whole character of Punisher is based around violence... if you made this movie all happy no one would want to see it.

i dont buy the whole thing. that sort of stuff just doesnt happen in real life. You kill my son and I kill your entire family? that's nasty man.

much to my dismay as I watched the movie, the plot is straightforward and predictable...

Although the film is very violent, it does reflect the true nature of human beings and it goes to the extreme ends to show what violence will ultimately bring: Pain and suffering...

that's the real message of the film.

Punisher? Violent?

Dont make me fucking laugh.

You want violence? Watch Icchi the Killer.
That movie defines what violence really is....

Ok, I haven't seen the movie, but I'd hate the movie if it wasn't violent. I used to read punisher comics every now and again, is the movie anything like them ?

I quite like the character. Violence comes naturally to some people.. why supress it ?

Kill bill pt 1 is more violent than Ichi the killer which to me was more like a violent black comedy IMHO

Do you think this sort of film actually makes people go out and copycat or do you think people are born evil and it just takes anything to trigger them, then when they are caught they say "such and such film made me do it"
What do you reacon? :o

Yes! Ichi the killer kicked ASS! That movie is bloody amazing.

If you want another gory and hardcore movie, check out the movie Kite (its the most hardcore anime ever)

If you've seen Kill Bill Vol.1 and their anime scene, Kite is about 200 times more violent and hardcore.

ichi the killer was more violent then kill bill by 100x.... in kill bill arms and leg chopping off wasnt that bad but in Ichi u have like a tongue getting cut out... torture with oils and stuff..

yea basically torture is way more gory then just really fast slashing action
