View Full Version : My Cd Drive Cant Read Certain Cds (other Comp Can)

the CD that it cant read happens to be a major mobo driver CD. i need it cuz my sound driver f__ked itself somehow... lol whats goin on here???


btw im running a 4x iomagic dvd±r(w) burner.

not sure why it cant read it, but just a suggestion, try putting the cd into another computer and share the drive, then explore the cd from the computer u need the dirvers for, and just install like that.

thx :) but how can i get it so that its a shared drive (acts like a drive) and not act like just a shared folder?

I did, many days ago, dont know how to fix that...

@atividia, in my computer click tools>map network drive>choose the shared &#39;folder&#39; and choose a drive letter.

thats about as close as your gonna get to it showing like an actual drive. (that i know of)

I did, many days ago, dont know how to fix that...
